How We Help?

At Akel’s Carpet One Floor & Home, being involved in the community is important to us. We are thankful for all of our local communities who help us succeed, which is why we strive so hard to give back! We know that without our local communities, we wouldn’t be where we are today. We want to say thank you! Below are some of the associations we support. If you are interested in learning more about how you can help or work with us, stop by our showroom or give us a call today!

Youth Home: The Youth Home is a not-for-profit mental health provider. By providing treatment for with a variety of different programs, the Youth Home hopes to build teamwork, compassion, trust, dedication, and professionalism to the community.

Hope Lodge: The Hope Lodge gives those who need support who are facing cancer a place to stay, meals, and a community of support.

Community Connection: Community Connections is a non-profit organization providing children with special needs extracurricular activities and support for their families.

Little Rock Zoo: The Little Rock Zoo hopes to inspire people to take care of our planet by valuing and conserving our natural world.

Maumelle Hornets High School: We sponsor the Hornets for their athletic programs. We are happy to support our local high school and the children who work so hard to excel in sports.

Cabot Park and Rec Piranahs: The Piranahs are a local swim team we sponsor. You can sign up for classes or just attend a meet. We encourage you to attend a swim meet! 

It's the Van: This organization is focused on supporting our local homeless. By visiting current homeless camps, searching for new camps, and finding homeless in the woods and other areas, this organization is able to provide needed supplies like food, water, and clothing.

Women and Children First: The Women and Children First organization helps women and children escape domestic violence and provides legal assistance, community housing, and adult education to those who need it.

The Rep: The Rep is a local theatre where art is practiced and performed. You can see a performance or sign up your child for theatre classes – all of which contribute to their artistic future!

The Clinton Library: You can learn a lot from visiting the Clinton Library, and we’re proud to support their efforts in educating the public on many of the events that occurred at the White House.

Access School: The Access School helps children with disabilities to learn, become empowered through improving confidence, and helping them achieve success.

Goodwill: Goodwill supports the local community by providing job training, education, and employment. 

Carti: Carti is a not-for-profit cancer care provider, focused on fighting cancer and giving the best treatment available. 

The Pink Agenda: The Pink Agenda is an organization that supports Breast Cancer research and care by raising money and awareness.

Pulaski Academy High School: We were happy to create a rug with the high school logo on it for the weight room!

Last Chance Arkansas: A Last Chance Arkansas is animal rescue non-profit 501(c)3 organization, 100% managed by volunteers. It is an active partner or Paws in Prison which gives shelter dogs a second chance at life through a mutually beneficial, inmate instructed, canine training program.
